I grew up in Texas and graduated from Eastwood High School in El Paso and went on to obtain several degrees. Throughout my career I taught in urban, suburban, and rural districts in Texas and Ohio. From 2007-2022, I served as the high school principal for Fairless High School in Stark County and currently hold superintendent and principal’s licenses in the state of Ohio.

I am married and have four children. We currently attend Grace Fellowship Assemblies of God in Canton where I serve on the finance committee and have also helped start a discipleship program. I came to Kingsway seeking an environment where I can follow God’s calling as an administrator while openly sharing my faith with others.

I joined Kingsway in 2022 as the Dean of Students/Athletic Director. Prior to coming to Kingsway, I taught social studies, coached high school basketball at Waynedale and Orrville schools, and was the Dean of Students/Athletic Director at Smithville Middle School/High School. My wife and I live in the Orrville/Smithville area with our three boys Knox, Reece and Rowan. I have a passion for seeing our students grow spiritually, have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and build lasting relationships here at Kingsway Christian.

My personal interests include landscaping, reading, snow skiing, and interacting with my grandchildren and family. I'm presently involved as a Sunday School teacher for an inter-generational class and serve on the investments task-force and lead music for our church. Mission trips for me have included NYC, Louisiana, and Mississippi, involving work projects and special programs for presenting the Gospel.

My work as development and admissions director is a calling from God to promote His Kingdom in the field of education, specifically, Christian education here at Kingsway. I'm fascinated with developing not just the heart, soul, mind, and strength of the "whole child" as in our students, but also looking long-term to provide opportunities for the "whole family"! I believe that God has a special place in His heart for children and so for me, working in Christian education is an honor! 

I have been a part of Kingsway since 2006, first as a parent/volunteer and became an employee in 2018. I enjoy rubber stamping and am a "foodie" at heart.  I love vacationing with my husband of 30 plus years, Jeff, and my son, Nathan (class of 2019).

It is an honor to be a part of Kingsway Christian School. Over the past 15 years the Lord has placed me in various positions within education. I truly feel that these various roles have allowed me to instill and develop skills and talents to be used for such a time as this here at Kingsway.

My husband Jeff and I have been married for over 35 years and we reside in Marshallville on a mini farm. We have four grown children along with their spouses and two beautiful granddaughters. I enjoy gardening, traveling, taking long walks with our German Shepherd, camping and kayaking with my husband.

My husband and I attend Freshwater Church in Wadsworth where I serve as a Deaconess and also have the honor of teaching Ladies Bible Studies on occasion. I love to be an encouragement to others and look forward to working with the Staff and Students here at Kingsway.

I know God called me to Kingsway for a purpose.  I am so thankful to be a part of a team that loves Jesus and serving others.  My husband Mark and I are members at Wooster Church of the Nazarene.  We have been married 21 years and have two beautiful daughters who are pursuing their career goals in nursing and radiology.   Prior to Kingsway, I worked for Taggart Law Firm in Wooster and The Will-Burt Company in Orrville.  I love hearing the laughter of children in the halls and our teenagers’ worship in the gym at Kingsway.  It is truly an honor to be a part of what God is doing and is about to do at Kingsway.

I am honored to be part of Kingsway. I love to read, spend time with my family and friends, and
spend time outdoors. I am active at my church in Orrville where I serve on the worship team
and assist the special needs ministry.

I have previously worked in education and business. I enjoy music, crafts and history. I collect
vintage books and antiques. I also enjoy genealogy and photography. My family and I live in
northern Wayne County.

Since graduating from MVNU in 2005, I have served in various administrative roles among several non-profit ministries. My desire has always been to serve the Lord by using the gifts and abilities He has given me. I am grateful that He has led me back to Kingsway to serve in the role of Marketing/Communications. I look forward to continuing to grow in my gifts and abilities as I use them here at Kingsway to advance our mission of "Preparing life-long learners to impact the nations for the glory of God".

I currently live in Wayne County with my husband and 4 wonderful girls. We are actively involved at Freedom Fellowship in Apple Creek where we attend church.

My personal mission is to remain faithful to God's call in my life. Thus far, the highlights of His calling have included more than 30 years working in various roles within Information Technology and at the same time various roles volunteering within Youth Ministry environments working alongside wonderful leaders and volunteers to start and grow youth outreach environments. For the past several years, I have also served as facilitator on the vision team for our church.  

Throughout all of this, God has blessed me with many challenging experiences, both personally and as part of the various teams I serve with, which have caused my relationship with Him to continue to grow in ways I could not have imagined. At times it has been humbling and at times it has been very rewarding but it has always been a privilege and an honor to serve Him as I serve the youth of the Orrville area for Christ.  

My personal interests vary from reading books and discussing essential leadership topics in ministry to coaching youth and playing competitive sports to photography / videography.

I was born and raised in Wayne County, Ohio and a graduate of Smithville High School. I went to college in Toccoa Georgia at Toccoa Falls College and studied Christian Counseling. I married my high school sweet heart Matt Walker and we have been married for almost 23 years. We have three beautiful girls and have spent most of our married life in fulltime ministry.  

I am very excited to be joining the staff at Kingsway Christian as the Student Services Advisor. I have spent many years working with students of all ages and am passionate about coming along side them to help them learn and grow. I love to get to know students and encourage them to follow the journey that God has for them! 

Outside of work I enjoy anything outdoors, especially sitting around a campfire and hiking. I love to travel and see new places. Sitting with people, sipping a cup of coffee and hearing their story is a passion of mine!

I am excited to be back at Kingsway! I attended Kingsway K-12. I obtained my Associates degree from the Ohio State University, and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. I previously worked in the ER at Joel Pomerene in Millersburg. Currently, I am working at the Wooster Community Hospital in the Emergency Department alongside my work as a school nurse at Kingsway.

Outside of work, I enjoy being outside, Jeep rides, and campfires. I lead worship at Broken Grounds Church and I am involved on our service trips to Pine Ridge Indian Reserve in South Dakota.

As I join the Kingsway team, I am also serving as the Senior Pastor at First Baptist Church in Wooster. I have worked in Maintenance and Security in several different settings over the years. Additionally, I have served in ministry for thirty plus years in Arkansas, Texas, Maryland, Michigan, and California. I am originally from Springdale, Arkansas, where I lived until I graduated High School. Upon graduation, I joined the Army and served as a Cavalry Scout/Reconnaissance specialist. Upon leaving active duty, I entered the ministry and have served the church in several capacities and a broad age range. I am currently working on my Doctor of Ministry degree from South University in Savannah Georgia (online).

I am married to the love of my life Sharon who is a native Ohioan and recently retired as a NICU Nurse and Nursing Educator after thirty-four years, having served in eleven different NICU’s.

Our family began our journey at Kingsway in 2007. Initially, I volunteered in the kitchen to fulfill our families volunteer hours and enjoyed it very much. Not long after, I was hired to be apart of the kitchen staff and I have been serving in this way ever since. 

I desire to be used of the Lord to make our kitchen and cafeteria the best it can be, but also a place of ministry. I look to meet the needs of others physically, emotionally and spiritually as opportunities arise. I love working at KCS and I especially love seeing God at work in our students, families and school!

The Lord lead our family to Kingsway for our children and I am excited that I have the opportunity to join the staff as the Preschool Teacher. I was a preschool intervention specialist for 12 years, but needed to be just be mom for the past three years. My husband, Willie is a fill in minister for the Holmesville Church of Christ and also a sales rep at The Ohio Floor Company. We have three children, Evan, Alese, and Sarah. 

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time outdoors, gardening, baking, photography, and time with family. I’m really looking forward to see what God has in store for our family as we start this new adventure.

I am a 2016 graduate of Wooster High School. I’m currently working towards my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education at Grand Canyon University. I have a German Shepard named Chevy who is the biggest baby! I am engaged to my wonderful fiancé. I am so excited to work with preschool again. I love the curious minds they have and the willingness to explore new things!

Before coming to Kingsway, I taught kindergarten in the Youngstown area in both public and private schools. I have also served as an assistant principal and a preschool director, but I most enjoy classroom teaching. 

My greatest desire for your child this year is to help them develop a deeper knowledge of Jesus Christ and a greater love for Him.  After that I want to help each child work toward the potential and gifts that God has given them.  Your child will be loved in this classroom.

I am so excited to be a part of the Kingsway family! My ultimate goal for your child is that they develop a love for Christ and grow their knowledge and relationships with Jesus Christ! Before coming to Kingsway I taught preschool at a Christian school in Middle Tennessee. I am newly married and my husband and I live the Brewster area. 

I am thankful to have the opportunity to teach children in a Christian environment!

As a little girl, I always enjoyed helping my parents set up their classrooms for the new school year and was intrigued by their many wonderful stories about their days as an educator. Through the years, I discovered that it was God’s calling for me to follow in their footsteps. From 2013-2021, I taught 2nd and 3rd grade in a small private school in Marietta, Ohio. I felt at home in a small setting, and I was delighted to know that I could freely guide my students in Christ’s footsteps.

Family is very important to me, and soon I found that being located in southeastern Ohio grew to be difficult since my family is located in Wooster, Ohio. Therefore, I decided to make the move to Wooster. During my move in 2021, I worked as a teacher paraprofessional in a public school in Wooster. Now I am excited to join the Kingsway family where light and love will fill my classroom each day. I am thrilled to know that I can continue this journey that God has planned for me.

I’m thankful to be part of the Kingsway team as a first year teacher and incredibly excited for what God will do! I believe God is the only way that works, truth that lasts, and the life that is eternal. Therefore, I’m joyful I can integrate biblical truth into my teaching.

I graduated from The University of Akron this spring with a degree in K-3 with a dual license in Special Education. My mom and dad have been my biggest supporters to pursue education. I am the youngest of three but enjoy being an aunt! I also have a cat, Rizzo, who technically is my fur baby.

Now, you might be questioning why I chose this career path. As an elementary student, I vividly remember coming home from a long school day and lining up my stuffed animals to play pretend school. What child does that? One that God has obviously wired to be a teacher. I guess it’s safe to say teaching has been a dream of mine. To finally see it come a reality is a huge blessing. Here’s to a challenging but fruitful school year. God is good!

I am a high achiever, creative, and very musically inclined. Singing on the worship team at my church is simply one of my favorite things. I also enjoy cooking, thrifting, board games, dabbling in photography, and playing my ukulele. Absolutely love soaking up the sun and down for spontaneous adventures.

I grew up in the little town of Wapakoneta, Ohio which is the hometown of astronaut Neil Armstrong.  After graduating from Wapakoneta High School I went to Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio where I majored in Elementary Education. After graduating from college, I accepted a job in Hilliard, Ohio teaching Sixth Grade Language Arts. I taught for 7 years  and coached track for 2 of those years. I had the honor and privilege of teaching with a truly amazing group of teachers and administration. 

My husband and I live in Orrville. We have four sons who keep us very busy. We enjoy spending time together as a family; we enjoy playing board games, watching movies, exploring this beautiful world that God has created for us, and sitting in the bleachers cheering for one another. 

I also enjoy teaching the 3 year old class at church twice a month and participating in a group called “Mom's in Prayer” each month. For the last 14 years, I have been a stay at home mom caring for my four sons. I am very excited to be back in the classroom this year teaching second grade at Kingsway Christian School.

I taught 1st grade at Kingsway from 1996-2005. My first classroom was in the old Sonnenberg Church up in the attic. People laugh when I tell them that was my best teaching year ever! I remember telling my principal (Keith Hamsher) that I couldn’t believe I was getting paid to do this everyday.I absolutely loved teaching and I still do. I feel that God has many great things in store for Kingsway and am so thankful that I get to be a part of this journey. 

I live in the Dalton area along with my husband Kevin and our two children.We attend Brewster Friends Church where we are involved in the children’s ministries.  In my free time I enjoy fishing, camping with my family, and heading to the beach in the summer.

While praying with my mother one afternoon, I asked Jesus to be my Savior at the age of seven years old. During my highschool years I discovered there is JOY in serving Jesus during a short term mission trip to the Grace Brethren Navajo Mission in New Mexico. It was then that I dedicated my life to be one of service to Him.

After graduating from college and getting married, I was privileged to be able to stay home and raise my five children for eighteen years. During that time, I was highly involved in a homeschool co-op based at the Chapel in Akron. I also taught at Wooster Christian (prior to having children) and spent three years teaching at Hametown Christian before the Lord led us to Kingsway. I am thrilled to be back in a traditional classroom. From the time I was in Kindergarten myself, I have wanted to be a classroom teacher. I thoroughly love my job as a fourth grade teacher. There are so many things for 9 and 10 year old children to learn and experience. I want to make their 4th grade year as rewarding as possible. I am  very thankful to be able to share from the Bible with my students.

I am a native of Wayne County but after marrying Ralph, my junior high sweetheart, we  have lived in the Barberton and Akron area for  30 years. We attend the Valley Community Church outside of Doylestown. My oldest son is married, my two older daughters and second son are working full time and the youngest daughter is a senior here at Kingsway. I am thankful to be a part of the Kingsway Family!

I joined the Kingsway family in 2016 and have enjoyed various roles including 3rd, 5th, and 6th grade teacher. I’m so thankful for the opportunity to teach here at Kingsway, where we can help students learn and grow closer to God each day! I'm excited for what God has planned here, and am blessed to be a part of it!

In my free time, I enjoy baseball, disc golf, and spending time with friends and family. I live in Massillon along with my wife Emily, and dog Ted.

I am very excited to start my second year of teaching (third year, overall) here at Kingsway Christian School. I graduated from Hillsdale High School in Ashland County too many years ago to count! I then went on to earn my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in Communications Comprehensive from The University of Akron. I spent several years teaching sophomore English at Triway High School before making the decision to stay home and raise a family.

My husband, Yanni, and I have lived in several states during our 25 years of marriage, including Ohio, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and California. He is a priest in the Greek Orthodox Church, and we served in parishes in each of those states. We have five beautiful children: Maria, Gabriela, Alexia, Katerina, and Lefteri. My youngest, Lefteri, is a sophomore here at Kingsway. I am so grateful that the Lord led me to Kingsway three years ago. I am so blessed to be in an environment where I can express my love for Jesus Christ and help guide young minds to follow Him!

Before coming to Kingsway in 2020, I worked professionally as an artist for 13 years. During that time, no matter where I worked, teaching became a part of my job. It seemed natural that God would call me to teach at Kingsway! I strive to bring that professional experience into the classroom and find a type of art that each student can get excited about. 

In my personal life, I enjoy traveling, spending time with family and friends, and creating art with many different types of mediums. I reside in Wooster with my husband, son and three cats.

I am so excited to be heading into my 10th year at Kingsway. (It will be 10 years in the spring!) I am teaching 5-12th grade bands, MS and HS choir and bands and all drama and musicals. It has been a joy to work with these wonderful teachers and staff at Kingsway as we work to praise and glorify Jesus in all we do!

I am a graduate of Waynedale High School, Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas with degrees in music and theatre, and have done graduate work at Kent State Univ. and The Univ. of Akron in secondary education. I have previously taught at Norwayne and West Holmes High Schools, did my student teaching at Orrville HS and subbed at Smithville HS. I have three children and seven grandchildren and love spending time with family and performing at local churches as a gospel singer.

I am excited to contribute my love for God, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality to Kingsway Christian School. Over the past 5 years, the Lord has put me through various educational positions that have helped prepare me as a teacher. 

I graduated from Smithville High School. I went on to the University of Findlay and graduated with my Animal Science degree. I used that degree to work at a couple of zoos in their education departments. This helped me realize, education was for me! 

My husband, Duke and I live in the Wooster area with our leopard gecko, Remi. Coaching is a big part of our lives as my husband coaches football at Wooster and I coach basketball at Waynedale. I enjoy all kinds of outdoor activities, spending time with family and friends, and caring for my plants and gardens.

Mission Statement: As I am led by God’s Spirit, I will promote uplifting relationships that equip each student in discernment and communication of the written and spoken word, influencing with a Christ-centered world-view, and doing my part to send them into the world as compassionate, whole persons. 

I have been a resident of Wooster and an employee of Kingsway since 2007. My husband, Tony, and I have two wonderfully wild little girls. One of my dreams is to be a contestant on Jeopardy. As one who loves literature, history, and random trivia, I try to share these interests with my students. I love to travel, and am always happy to plan a trip to share the world with my students. Working at Kingsway has given me the opportunity to expand my Christian world-view through mission trips and working alongside great people, as well as the awesome job of mentoring students who go on to graduate and become some of my favorite young adults.

This is my second year at Kingsway Christian School! This is my first year as the Middle School ELA teacher, and second year as an Educational Coach. 

I am originally from Akron. I received my Bachelor of Arts & Bachelor of Science in Education from The University of Akron. I have taught both middle and high school English and Math. I have spent several years teaching in an alternative setting at Barberton City Schools.

I am married to Brad Daugherty, and we have two girls: Alexis and Aleah. I spend most of my time as a mom supporting both girls in their respective activities. 

My free time is devoted to being an Orrville Band Parent and Orrville Lions club volunteer. I am also an avid reader. I prefer books to television any day. I enjoy jogging, and listening to podcasts and sermons.

I am very excited to be here at Kingsway.  I graduated from the University of Mount Union and earned my teaching license at the University of Akron. My desire and goal, as both a teacher and servant of the Lord, is to serve, inspire, and challenge those around me. I love seeing young people realize they are capable of overcoming all situations and love encouraging them through those moments.

I believe mathematics is a human language created to help us discover, understand, and explore the world God has laid out before us. I am continually in awe of the Lord and the greatness of His creation. I am an avid sports fan, cheering always for any Pittsburgh teams.

I am very serious about my love for the Lord and His love for the people of this world. I am always thinking of Peter, who was always seeking to be next to Jesus. This is my same heart and cry to the Lord, that I may see Him and be willing to do whatever it takes to be where He is, to speak what He is speaking, and to do what He is doing. I am encouraged that I may speak freely the testimonies of the Lord here at Kingsway and am resting in hopeful expectation of what the Lord will do this year for and through the students.

God first brought me to Kingsway for the second half of my student teaching in the spring of 2014 and I fell in love. After completing a long-term subbing job for Carly Scarpino that fall and staying connected with the school over the following two years, I am ecstatic to officially be a full-time teacher. 

I am originally from Cleveland and relocated to Orrville. Never did I think I would be living in the country, but God has a funny way of working things out and putting us where we never thought possible. This city girl at heart will remain a huge Cleveland sports fan and lover of musicals. I also enjoy traveling, going to museums and National Parks, cross-stitching, and reading historical fiction novels. I attend Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Sterling and am very active within its college & career group.

Overall, I truly love the fact that I am in a school that allows me to share my faith with my students while planting seeds in them so that they will then leave Kingsway to impact the world for Christ.

As a young person, this verse continually challenged me to live a life worthy of the calling of Christ.  As an adult, it is the bedrock that frames my interactions with teenagers. I love spending time with students, encouraging them to discover their God-given talents, and helping them develop those skills for God’s glory. 

My husband Jeff and I have been happily married for 23 years, and have four teenage children. During the early years of our marriage, I worked as a Research Microbiologist at Battelle Memorial Institute in Columbus, Ohio. For the past eight years, I have been employed as a substitute teacher in the Dalton Local Schools.

In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering as a youth mentor at Orrville Christian Church, instrumental music, and spending time outdoors in God’s creation. Working in my garden, listening to the birds chirping, or watching a spectacular sunset refreshes my soul and reminds me that everything we see on this earth was designed by our creator God. I am excited to share my experience and love of science with high school students.

I have been committed to building multi-ethnic communities that follow Jesus in the way of love, peace, and reconciliation for over 20 years. 

My wife, Mia, and I have been married since 1998 and have four incredible daughters.

I am so excited to be at Kingsway. My passion is helping all students be successful in all areas of their lives, in any way I can, while showing them God’s love. My husband and I have a little girl and live in Orrville. I have been an Intervention Specialist for 7 years between Orrville and Loudonville. I enjoy being in the classroom with the students as well as working either one-on-one or small groups. I love working with classroom teachers to help all students learn since everyone is unique.

The opportunity to teach and to serve at Kingsway Christian School has been a God given gift! I’ve taught here in the classroom for ten years, retired and returned to mentor/ tutor children at risk, subbed in numerous classrooms, and now oversee high school study halls and encourage completion of missing work. I’ve also assisted as a detention supervisor. Now, as I begin my 18th year at Kingsway, I am reminded of the verse in 1 Peter 4:1, "Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.” We all have the gifts God has blessed us with and He wants us to use them to help others and to glorify him. 

I’m a mom to four awesome adult children and grandma to eight treasured grands; aged 20 months to 15 years. Including me, there are five teachers among us. Two of my children graduated from Malone University, one from Kentucky Christian University and one from Stark State. The Lord has blessed and challenged our lives as we grow and continue to serve Him.

These words of wisdom have been a guide to me as I teach and parent: kindness, truth, consistency, love, patience, encouragement, growing in joy and grace and self control. We want to teach all of our students that in the family of God we can fail and not be a failure. That the two most powerful forces in the world are love and prayer…Use them! 

God has richly blessed my life and I am so very thankful for the wise and helpful people He has brought into my life through my years at Kingsway. This year, 2023-2024, I will complete 50 years as an educator! God has continually opened doors to place me where He needed me most; first as a first grade and K/PK teacher, then as a 4,5, and 6 grade educator, LD tutor, and now as a High School study hall and detention supervisor and tutor/educational coach. My prayer now is that we may all continue to share God's grace and scriptural wisdom with others and with children and families as we learn and grow together through Him! 

I am a 2003 graduate of Kingsway and the Lord brought me back to the place that formed me into who I am today. I am an educational coach and I absolutely love finding each child’s unique way of learning and tackling the hard subjects with a new approach. My favorite part of this journey is when a child finally understands something that they have been trying to comprehend for weeks and their face lights up. Each child is different and I feel it is my job to find the best learning path for them. I live in Orrville with my husband Eric and we have 4 beautiful children. I am a member of Wooster Nazarene and I am a youth leader in Thrive (our high school teen ministries). In my free time I enjoy swimming, camping, kayaking, and fishing. Also, I love to create, whether it is crocheting, reupholstering, or building something. I really do enjoy being busy! 

My name is Rosa Berkey. I was born and raised here in Wayne County. I graduated from Central Christian High School. I attend the Wooster Nazarene Church. My husband Jeff and I have been married 32 years and have 2 children, Kevin and Sherry. We also have 2 grandson's, Karter and Ryker.

I grew up most of my childhood in Zanesville, Ohio where I attended Zanesville Christian School through the beginning of my senior year and then graduated from Howland Christian High School in Warren, Ohio.  I attended Ohio Christian University (formerly known as Circleville Bible College) in Circleville, Ohio from 1986-90 majoring in Elementary Education. I come from a rich heritage of ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as my father, grandfather, great-grandfathers, uncle, cousins, and older brother all have served the Lord in the pastoral ministry.  In 1991, I was called by the Lord to serve in pastoral ministry as the Youth Pastor of Sugarcreek Free Methodist Church (now called Newpointe) in Sugarcreek, Ohio, where I served until 1997.  After marrying my beautiful wife, Jill, in June of 1996, we moved to Lindale, Texas in 1997, where I served for a season at Harvest Ministries as the Director of the Discipleship Program. 

In 1999, while living in Fort Worth, Texas, I took my first short-term missions trips to hurricane-torn Honduras and revival-stricken Argentina. These trips awakened a passion in my heart to share the Gospel in other nations.  For the next seven and half years, I served as Assistant Director of Isaiah 6 Ministries in northern New York, where Jill and I led the domestic and international missions division of the ministry.  We have led numerous short-term missions trips domestically and to various parts of Asia, Central America, Africa and the Middle East over the years.                                     

In 2003, our lives were transformed when we adopted two little girls, Adelina and Aislynn, from Kazakhstan (both have since graduated from Kingsway). This life-changing experience of international adoption has helped to enlarge our hearts and shape our vision for ministry to orphans around the world as well as revealing the Father's heart of God.  The Lord opened the doors for us to adopt three children from China: Addison (Mei Mei) in 2011, Evan in 2014 and Jadyn in 2016.  All three currently attend Kingsway.  We also recently welcomed with great joy the birth of our first grandchild, Karina.

In 2007, we relocated to Millersburg, Ohio to partner with Gateway Fellowship as we founded a non-profit organization, Operation ACTS (All Children To Save).  The goal of this ministry is to help equip and mobilize the body of the Christ in prayer, giving, and sending laborers for the purpose of preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ and ministering to orphans.  One of the ways that we bring life to orphans around the world is by drilling wells for clean drinking water in various countries of Africa.  In addition to this, I have been on staff at Gateway since 2009 as Director of Children’s Ministry and was ordained  Elder in 2022.

God fulfilled a personal dream of mine of working in a Christian school when I came on staff in 2018 as an Educational Aid at Kingsway.  I am a firm believer that many of life’s lessons are learned on the playground as a child and it is my goal to minister to our students with the heart of a father while helping them to learn to respect themselves and others in a safe environment.

I am the coordinator for Kingsway events, such as Church Leader Appreciation Day,
Grandparents Day, ACSI Math Olympics and Speech Meet. I also
tutors students in the elementary department as needed.

I love that this verse is actually a banner on the gym wall at KCS and a constant reminder
to give thanks to God in all things! It also reminds me that I should love one another in such a
way that reflects the love of Christ to others all the time.

I absolutely love Christian Education and have been an elementary classroom teacher since
Kingsway began. I have since moved to a more flexible position after her last daughter
graduated from KCS. I am very thankful that my three daughters were able to attend K-12 and
value the impact it has had on their lives. I am happily married to Greg and together we
serve at Orrville Christian Church. I am also a graduate of Kentucky Christian University and
Ashland University.

I am very excited to be at Kingsway Christian School and have the opportunity to teach Elementary Music and Intervention. I have a passion for teaching music, encouraging students to learn and grow academically, and showing the students the love of God. While attending Mount Union College I played the clarinet. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, music, and crafts.

I am excited to be here at Kingsway! It is an honor and privilege for me to get to know and serve our students. Prior to my children coming to Kingsway I felt from the Lord a sense of destiny at this school, it is fun to see what God is doing and will do in each student. 

My husband and I have three daughters and live in Massillon, Ohio. I enjoy spending time with my family, baking, biking, swimming, and being creative. A few of my creative hobbies are sewing and refurbishing furniture with my husband. One of my life verses is Hebrews 12:1-3 "Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right and of the throne of God. For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart."
