Where is Kingsway located?


Kingsway is located south of Orrville, west of Dalton and east of Wooster. It is easily accessible off Rt. 30 at the Carr Road exit near the intersection of Rt. 57 and Rt. 30 near the Riceland Golf Course.

 

What grades does Kingsway offer?

Kingsway is a K-12, chartered, fully- accredited, Non-denominational, Christian school.

 

Does Kingsway offer scholarships?

Kingsway offers a monthly tuition management program through FACTS tuition management services. It also offers a tuition assistance program to families who complete the FACTS on-line tuition assistance application.

 

Does Kingsway offer Advanced Placement classes?

Beginning in the fall of 2012 Kingsway will offer advanced placement classes in English, History, Biology, and Math.

 

Do Kingsway teachers hold college degrees?

Yes, all of the faculty members hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in their field. Several have dual degrees in regular education and special education. Some teachers have completed Master’s degrees and one is currently finishing a PH.D. degree.

 

What makes Kingsway unique?

The mission, vision, and core value statements that drive the program and the school ‘Culture of Honor’ make Kingsway a one-of-a-kind Christian school.

 

Who may attend Kingsway?

Any K-12 student whose family completes the enrollment application and meets the enrollment criteria may attend Kingsway.

 

May I visit classrooms before I enroll my child?

Yes, the administration encourages your family to tour the school and visit classrooms prior to enrolling.

 

Will my child take state assessment tests in grades 3-8?

Currently KCS students take the OGT in 10th grade. In grades K-11 they take the nationally named Tera Nova.

 

Are hot lunches provided?

Yes, the school provides a hot lunch program with personalized ala-cart items available for grades 5-12.

 

What transportation arrangements are available?

Bus service is available for students living in the Dalton School District. All other transportation is provided by students’ families.

 

Is the school accredited by the state of Ohio?

Yes, KCS is a fully accredited non-public school chartered by the State of Ohio.

 

Is assistance available if my child has difficulty?

KCS provided auxiliary staff for students in grades K-6 who need extra help. Teachers in grades 7-12 provide academic assistance after school for students needing extra help.
