Kingsway Christian School

Our goal for the missions program at Kingsway Christian School is that our students would reach out to others in service and in love.  The missions program is one way for the students to put into action their faith in Jesus.  Jesus said, “If anyone would come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow Me.”  (Luke 9:23)

The Board of Trustees came up with a list of 12 objectives that they desire for our future graduates.  The mission trip program helps to accomplish several of these objectives like:  

1. Global awareness and a heart for missions. 

2. Work as part of a team to accomplish goals.

3. Discover gifts and talents and use them for God’s glory.

4. Know how to seek God’s will and be willing to follow the Spirit’s leading.

5. Develop Biblical values, morals, and ethics.

6. Mature in their prayer life and relationship with Christ.

Objectives of the mission trip program:

1. That the trips fit the age level of the student.

2. That the trips represent a variety of experiences both in location and the types of activities

3. That the trips become an outreach of Kingsway Christian School and an extension of     Kingsway’s purpose in this world.

4. That the mission trips be communicated as one of the unique educational differences of our school.

5. That the whole school community becomes more involved in the mission trips.

6. That the trips contribute to the twelve objectives for graduates.
