Thank you for your interest in visiting the KCS website. Kingsway Christian School is located on a twenty-one acre campus just south of Orrville and west of Riceland, Ohio. Our school ministry was established in 1992 as a Kindergarten through sixth grade school with 52 students. Today, we are a state chartered Kindergarten through twelfth grade multi-tracked educational facility with over 215 students. Kingsway Christian School is a non-denominational, parent-sponsored school which has over 50 different churches represented by the student body and faculty. Kingsway provides a Christ centered environment and a strong biblically based curriculum that prepares students for college, technical school, or immediate employment following graduation. The faculty members at Kingsway are Christian, certified teachers whose desire is to assist our parents in the education of their children from God’s perspective. Coming from a wide variety of educational backgrounds, they work together as a unit to help equip students to serve Christ and their community. Stability of the faculty is apparent as over 50 percent of our staff have taught at Kingsway Christian School for 6 years or more. The value of Christian education is identified by its ministry to the whole child. Special consideration is given to the child’s spiritual, emotional, academic, physical, and social needs during their years of growth and development. Christian educators seek to help children grow as Jesus grew – “in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men” (Luke 2:52). Every child is encouraged to reach his/her God-given potential. At Kingsway Christian School, we realize teaching a biblical worldview is essential in today’s culture. The development of a Biblical worldview happens as the Bible is deliberately integrated into every area of study and every area of the child’s life. |
